Jessica and Vinny

I first met Vinny when we were attending Rowan University. I was majoring in Elementary Education and Mathematics, and Vinny was also majoring in Mathematics preparing for a career as an Actuary. We had a few classes together, but it was through our mutual friend Terry that we met. Terry, Vinny, and myself started having lunch together in the school cafeteria together twice a week, and as the year went on we became good friends. The next semester came and Terry was no longer able to join us for our weekly lunches, so it was just Vinny and I having lunch together and that’s when our relationship started to blossom.
As the weeks went on, I realized that Vinny was more to me than just a classmate and good friend. He was easy to talk to, made me laugh, and there was nothing I looked forward to more than our weekly lunches together. It was at a party at Terry’s house when I confessed my feelings for him and after that we were inseparable. I had fallen in love with my best friend and life couldn’t be better.
After a little over 2 years of dating, Vinny took me up to New York for a Broadway show and dinner to celebrate our birthdays (which are only a day apart). After dinner that night we took a stroll through Central Park and after walking awhile we took a seat together by a quaint pond. It was then as we were admiring the city skyline he told me he had one more gift for me as he reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring. It was the perfect proposal.
We didn’t get started on the wedding planning right away as we were more focused on finding our first home together, but after we found that, we put the wedding planning into high gear. We visited a ton of venue sites but none compared to the charm and beauty of the Collingswood Ballroom. After deciding on our venue it was time to find our caterer. Summit Catering came highly recommended and after speaking with Dory we could see why, it was an easy choice. It’s been a little hectic with all the wedding planning but everything seems to be falling into place perfectly. I know that no matter what happens, our wedding will be perfect, because I’m marrying my best friend and soul mate.
