We just had to give everyone who worked so hard to collect items and write letters to Gary and the troops in Afghanistan, and quick update.  The troops have received all of our packages and are really enjoying them (see picture).  Gary’s wife, Cassy, emailed us that they are so elated, and they are loving all of the food – reminds them of the USA!  Funny thing, though – we sent lots of canned goods, and Gary and the guys had no can opener!  He is heading to the PX on his next day off to get one.  That made us laugh! 

THANK YOU, again, to Tabernacle Elementary School, Olson Middle School, and those Summit Catering Employees who helped out with getting everything together for our troops.  May God Bless you all, and Happy Holidays!
